Decision!

I bought a car today.

Well, I paid £1,000 deposit. I’ll pay the rest with my debit card when I go to pick it up, which will be when the necessary dosh has transferred from the company account to my personal account.

It’s big and blue and has six forward gears and has a turbo and goes quickly and that’s about all the information I can put in to the public domain.

Unfortunately it takes friggin’ forever (3 working days) for money to transfer from the company account to my personal account so it might be Wednesday or Thursday before I can go and collect it.

The first two or three working days of the week are going to be very difficult. 🙁

But I’m really looking forward to the time when I eventually get it.

  1. Good good. We went and looked at cars. None of them passed my stringent selection criteria. Don’t know what to do. Hope you enjoy yours. And that it is cheap to run and everything!

    Two-word titles are all the rage these days.
    Three-word titles are pretty popular too.
    I’ve even seen titles that are four or more words long!

    You can do it. I have faith in you.
    Let’s see a title that’s… six words long!

  3. Lis, it ticks all of the right boxes. I had two on the shortlist that did and the first dealer met my price reduction so I didn’t need to go and see the other guy.

    Merry, you have so nearly seen through my plan that I thought I was going to have to send you a prize! But no, you have only got half of it.

    So here, just for you. is the whole thing… it’s Post Everyday February – and I’m differentiating mine from everyone else’s with one-word titles! 🙂
