talkin’ about mp’s expenses, right, an’ they just had to focus on the fact that iris robinson who may, some people are mentioning, have had more than one extra-marital affair, overclaimed on her expenses for…

and then the news reporter signed off with the bombs ‘it ain’t over yet’.

more lolz.

and now the bbc political correspondent, a man who resembles a geeky four-eyed nerd with all the charisma of a two-day dead goldfish, is saying that the mp’s expenses investigation cost £1.6m and has earned repayments of £1.3m.

what the fuck is goldfish brain smoking?

it cost £1.6m, maybe.

and saved £1.3m, maybe.

but that saving of £1.3m is just for the period up to *this fucking year*.

or does the cunt who the bbc have the brass balls to call their ‘political correspondent’ (nick robinson) think that by some miraculous feat of symbiosis, all of the thieving, lying, stealing mps would have only claimed the correct amounts *next year*?

and what is it with the bbc dumbing down their output?

if i needed a reason to stop watching all future bbc news output, i now have it.

look nick, you might have a well-paid public sector job, but do everyone else a favour please?

    Personally I think we should have a look at the MPs expenses and see who either claimed fraudently or who took the piss. They should then be unceremoniously fired without the golden goodbye for gross misconduct. Thos whose claims are entirely above board should have their names published on a list so that they can be left alone and we can then recruit another batch, with the promise that a full independant audit of their expenses claims will be carried out every 2 years and anyone found claiming for anything ridiculous or non existent will be out of work. If they don’t like these terms and conditions they can feel free to leave the job but they aren’t wasting any public money with an appeal against them. That should focus their venal little minds.
