Android issue? (2)

So.

After a l.o.n.g. phone call with Vodafone’s tech support people this morning, they threw an unexpected move in my direction.

‘It’s your SIM card. It’s so old that it doesn’t work well with the new handsets. We’ll send you a new one tomorrow’.

Wow.

Really?

And wow.

Well, we’ll see how that shakes out.

Oh, entirely possible, I’ve had two phone issues fixed by a SIM upgrade :o) Hope it works for you.

I have never heard that used a reason before. Be interesting to see if it fixes everything for you.

Mind you I just moved back to a Blackberry after 3 frustrating months with an HTC. I clearly cannot cope certain technological change…

I’ve also been aware of problems caused by SIM cards. I’ve heard of at least “version 2” and “version 3” in our local market, so one assumes there are at least three types.

Yup, mine’s done that as well – they used to transfer all your SIM data in store as well before smartphones
