So we learn today that six teenaged Warrington children (one of fifteen, two of sixteen, two of seventeen and one of eighteen) have been charged with the murder of 57-year-old Gary Newlove, a sales manager.
There must be twelve parents in Cheshire feeling very pleased with their parenting skills today.

Bad kids = bad children? Ah, if only it were that simple…
= bad parents even!
Crumbs, mine will grow up to be illiterate!!
What kind of education is that when kids don’t even know how not to get caught?
Hi Jen,
Well I think bad parenting is related. Surely this is the ‘rights vs responsibilities’ game that people play.
Parental responsibility for children under the age of 18 includes knowing where they are, who they’re with and what they’re doing.
Surely, anything less is a failure?
It has to be decline in core values of right and wrong, and at the age these children are, those values should come from your parents. I would agree that parenting surely has a part in the actions of these children.
