Four humans (two of them teenagers!) and four dogs have successfully survived the week-long caravan holiday in Wales. There’s so much to talk about. The awful journey down there. Our little forays into Brecon. Our hike up the twmp. The collection of many, many golf-balls (33 – all now safely returned, except for the one I found this morning when I was unpacking). The many dog walks (because of the many dogs, obviously). The caravan-towing (longest distance travelled etc). The broken nights of sleep. The nine hours of sleep on return to the lovely bed. The hidden 13amp trip switch (in the bottom of the wardrobe!). The central heating heater that didn’t (2x AA batteries will fix this, I have since discovered). The trip to the book mecca that is Hay on Wye. And lastly (but not leastly) the absolutely stunning views of Pen y Fan and its surrounding peaks that we had right outside our windows and front door. Oh, and the absolutely not awful journey back. Yes, I could tell you all about those things. But instead here’s a few photographs:

Sounds like you had an adventurous time!
I did the Fan some years ago. Quite a climb!
It was nice being in a different place, but it was also hard work. And I’m not even talking about climbing every mountain (to quote a song).
Glad you enjoyed your trip to our new homeland!
Ah, so you’ve moved now? I think you’re closer further south than where we were?
