And now the end is here, and so I face that final curtain. My friend I’ll make it clear, I’ll state my case, of which I’m certain. I’ve lived a life that’s full, I travelled each and every highway. And more, much more than that. I did it, I did it Masher’s way.
This year it’s been (for me, at least) significantly easier than previous years. Who would have thought writing a blogpost a day, once a year, could be a bit of a slog? But it has been in the past. Not this time though. This time the twenty-eight twenty-nine days have flown past, and they have done so quicker than a flying past thing that was flying past very quickly.
Thanks to Masher for setting this up in the first place, and for keeping me on the straight and narrow.
In terms of personal admin, this year’s Blogathon bounty has been rounded up to £30 (plus processing) and is already on its way to Khalsa Aid. This is a very worthwhile British-based Sikh humanitarian charity, to which I donate a small amount of money each month, and have done for a number of years. Khalsa Aid do a tremendous job on a shoestring budget. If you find yourself with a few quid left over at the end of the month, or even at the end of the year, you could do worse than bunging it at Khalsa Aid on a one-off donation.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the 2024 Blogathon. It’s been a combination hoot and learning experience for me.
Well done.
Well done on the challenge and well done for the charity thing.
I think this year for me, it was just the same as in previous years: starting off a bit slow, struggling to think of things to write about, but once I’d got going, it became easier… which, of course, is the whole point of doing it.
Thanks for keeping me company once again.
Thanks. It’s all your fault, obviously. 🙂
