On yesterday afternoon’s dogwalk, we came across one of the local arboralicologists arborolists tree-cutters doing their thing. The pair of large fir trees that stand afront the Methodist Church have been deemed in need of some kind of attention. So while the two dogs milled about the place, I stood and watched for a while. Fascinating stuff. One of the chainsaw operatives climbed ‘inside’ the tree (actually, not inside the tree itself, but definitely inside it’s thick foliage) and was cutting branches and lobbing them out onto the grass.
