Yesterday morning the 18yo was at her sixth-form place of education bright and early to collect her A-Level results. I’m so pleased to be able to report that she will be leaving us in a few weeks, and heading off to her chosen college of knowledge, having attained the required amount of points to start her degree.
Meanwhile down in that West Country my daughter (who – I may have previously mentioned – successfully scored a First Class Hons in Law from Bristol) has begun work in a legal practice while she mulls over her career options.
It’s all kind of good. And I’m pleased.

She’s a smart girl. She’s currently being equipped for three years of student accommodation which includes the usual bedding and kitchenware stuff. We’ll forget something, I’m sure.
