{"id":10245,"date":"2014-10-15T21:59:24","date_gmt":"2014-10-15T20:59:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=10245"},"modified":"2014-10-15T21:59:24","modified_gmt":"2014-10-15T20:59:24","slug":"not-a-good-indication","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=10245","title":{"rendered":"Not a good indication"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The offside front indicator on the ZX9R packed up.<\/p>\n<p>The corresponding rear indicator worked fine, but the front one steadfastly refused to join in.<\/p>\n<p>Both front indicators and the tail-tidy indicators are after-market customisations, added by a previous owner.<\/p>\n<p>All\u00a0are LED.<\/p>\n<p>LEDs are not supposed to fail (often).<\/p>\n<p>So I took the side fairing off.<\/p>\n<p>And then removed the nose cone.<\/p>\n<p>And had a bit of a poke around; looking for loose connections.<\/p>\n<p>I found none (not nun, that&#8217;s a different story).<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, tomorrow I&#8217;m taking the Ninja in to Ramp &amp; Wrench for them to fit new (old &#8211; the original) front indicators.<\/p>\n<p>Because I reckon that the flashing device (diode?) in the front offside indicator has packed up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The offside front indicator on the ZX9R packed up.
