It\u2019s all Elaine’s fault (she sometimes hangs about over here<\/a>,\u00a0but these days is a bigger Facebook-botherer).<\/p>\n

But chiefly because of her, and a conversation we had yesterday evening, I thought it would be good to have a go at putting together a musical blogging challenge (in much the same way that Young Masher<\/a> does his February Blogathon Challenge).<\/p>\n

So.<\/p>\n

We pick a month (I\u2019ve already done this: June seems like a fair choice) and we write a post a day based on a musical theme.<\/p>\n

This is an old idea and comes from GRAE New York<\/a>, (it was Elaine who pointed me at the source material).<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve updated the list a little, made it more user-friendly and changed a couple of the categories.<\/p>\n

What do you think?<\/p>\n

There’s plenty of thinking time, between now and June.<\/p>\n

I’m probably just going to write a few lines about each song, and then post a link to the song on YouTube (assuming I can find the song over there).<\/p>\n

And if you’re a Facebook-botherer and just want to post your music challenge in that place, instead of on a blog\/website of your choosing, just make sure I can see it, eh?<\/p>\n
