{"id":11428,"date":"2016-06-04T10:15:39","date_gmt":"2016-06-04T09:15:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=11428"},"modified":"2016-06-02T20:16:43","modified_gmt":"2016-06-02T19:16:43","slug":"music-challenge-day-042016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=11428","title":{"rendered":"Music Challenge: Day 04\/2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>A song that\u00a0reminds me of somewhere<\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As much as I loathe the Pilton Music Festival, which most people incorrectly call Glastonbury (and man, do I ever loathe Pilton\/Glastonbury), this song reminds me of a moment so stunning, my eyes almost fill with tears when I recall it.<\/p>\n<p>The rain was a consistently heavy, non-passing shower, and it had been for a couple of hours.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn&#8217;t a downpour, but over the hours the constant rain had soaked through everything we wore, and everything on the campsite.<\/p>\n<p>My hair ran wet, pressed flat against my head, my contact lenses were well-moistened.<\/p>\n<p>It was dark.<\/p>\n<p>And although I was cold with the rain and the very cool night air, pressed up against the crash barriers at the front of the stage as I was, the heat of the lights on the gantry felt like mild sunburn on my face.<\/p>\n<p>And towards the end of a set that was mostly average, they performed this song.<\/p>\n<p>And after the long intro, the band sang.
