A song that I want played at my funeral<\/h1>\n

Wow, this is easy.<\/p>\n

We (Sam and I) actually once discussed, and made a mental list, of what we’d like played at our funerals.<\/p>\n

I’ve changed my mind about eighteen times since.<\/p>\n

There are so many, and they range from the sublime to the ridiculous.<\/p>\n

And I have a taste for the ridiculous.<\/p>\n

The walk-in would probably be the Test Match Special theme<\/a>, just as it was for my mate, fellow motorcyclist and former colleague Grant Burke<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There would have to be something beautifully (and typically) anthemic from Embrace, such as I Can’t Come Down<\/a>. Or One Last Lovesong by The Beautiful South. <\/p>\n

But my overwhelming desire is to imagine the few people who would turn up to my funeral, singing, so quietly, along with this cover version:<\/p>\n
