{"id":11681,"date":"2016-09-28T13:30:04","date_gmt":"2016-09-28T12:30:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=11681"},"modified":"2016-09-28T13:30:04","modified_gmt":"2016-09-28T12:30:04","slug":"heart-attack-diary-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=11681","title":{"rendered":"Heart Attack Diary: #4"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Death by Daytime TV<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Homes Under The Hammer<\/li>\n<li>Street Auction<\/li>\n<li>Bargain Hunt<\/li>\n<li>Jeremy Kyle<\/li>\n<li>Loose Women<\/li>\n<li>Cowboy Builders<\/li>\n<li>The Wright Stuff<\/li>\n<li>Four In A Bed (not as exciting as the name implies)<\/li>\n<li>Escape To The Country<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The list of mediocrity that is Daytime <del>Drudgery<\/del> TV goes on and on.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s be clear, I haven&#8217;t sat through these.<\/p>\n<p>I sampled a couple, briefly, and then hit the off switch before you could say Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AFIg9RvyLyE\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Thanks, daytime TV, but I&#8217;ve had a heart attack, not a brain attack.<\/p>\n<p>Annoyingly I feel fine.<\/p>\n<p>Normal.<\/p>\n<p>Normal for me, obv.<\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;m finding all this &#8216;slow down, take it easy, do *gentle* exercise, don&#8217;t rush, I told you to take it easy, stop doing the washing up, don&#8217;t make tea, no really why don&#8217;t you bloody take it easy, don&#8217;t do the laundry, stop doing that thing now!&#8217; really difficult to cope with.<\/p>\n<p>I am not, nor have I ever been, a good patient.<\/p>\n<p>This one time at <del>band camp<\/del> RAF Hospital Wegberg, a few days after an emergency admission from my squadron, I slipped out of the ward late at night and went to a disco up the road at RAF Rheindahlen.<\/p>\n<p>I got in to some trouble over that.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, the neighbour&#8217;s dog has stopped barking.
