{"id":12089,"date":"2017-03-09T16:51:10","date_gmt":"2017-03-09T16:51:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=12089"},"modified":"2017-03-11T02:26:23","modified_gmt":"2017-03-11T02:26:23","slug":"wip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=12089","title":{"rendered":"WIP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Title: Undecided<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Preface: First Words\/Last Words<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Muffled noise.<\/p>\n<p>The seatbelt had done its job.<\/p>\n<p>I was securely strapped to the driver\u2019s seat, upside down.<\/p>\n<p>I shook my head to try to shake the impact memory, the thuds, the bangs, and my head being jarred around.<\/p>\n<p>The windscreen was crazed, but held itself in place.<\/p>\n<p>Blood dripped from my face on to the car roof below.<\/p>\n<p>I was still holding on to the steering wheel.<\/p>\n<p>There was a thud outside.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Are you OK in there?\u2019 asked a muffled voice.<\/p>\n<p>I didn\u2019t answer.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Hello?\u2019 A little clearer.<\/p>\n<p>The blood continued to drip upwards from my nose, and I realised my chest hurt.<\/p>\n<p>She put her head through the open window on the driver\u2019s side.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Are you\u2026 Jesus Christ!\u2019<\/p>\n<p>I tried to tell her that I wasn\u2019t the Son of God, but my tongue wouldn\u2019t work and I realised that the blood dripping from my nose was originating in my mouth.<\/p>\n<p>There was a bang on the other side of the car, and someone said something I couldn\u2019t hear.<\/p>\n<p>The passenger window was kicked in.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">She was still learning in through the driver\u2019s window when a gloved hand reached in through the passenger\u2019s window.<\/p>\n<p>The hand held a gun.<\/p>\n<p>The gun spat once, and her face disintegrated.<\/p>\n<p>The gun spat again and I died quicker than I was already dying.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Title: Undecided Preface: First Words\/Last Words Muffled noise.
