{"id":12528,"date":"2018-06-06T22:02:03","date_gmt":"2018-06-06T21:02:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=12528"},"modified":"2018-06-06T22:02:03","modified_gmt":"2018-06-06T21:02:03","slug":"blogathon-06-18","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=12528","title":{"rendered":"Blogathon 06\/18"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Continuing the everyday look at everyday objects through the camera lens\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sometime in the future, an academic who has spent many years tucked away in a dusty eerie, researching the arcane and equally dusty corners of the English Language (etymology division) will have a Eureka moment.<\/p>\n<p>She (or possibly he) will leap up from her (or possibly his) texts and will shout &#8216;I have found it!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;You have found what dear?&#8217; Her (or possibly his) wife (or possibly husband or, LTLP*, or even wife anyway because who cares?) would respond.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;i have found the precise moment in time that an idiot began using the made up word&#8217; hydrate in all its forms.<\/p>\n<p>I do not hydrate; it&#8217;s a load of old nonsense.<\/p>\n<p>I do, though, drink.<\/p>\n<p>At work I drink about five pints a day.
