Now you know that I like a drink, right?<\/p>\n

No, not that sort of a drink.<\/p>\n

Well I do like that sort of a drink.<\/p>\n

But sparingly.<\/p>\n

I can’t remember the last time I had one of those drinks.<\/p>\n

Oh yes. About three weeks ago.<\/p>\n

I had a pint of cider shandy.<\/p>\n

Because, you know, I’d really have a skinfull of booze and get on a superbike and ride it down Nottingham’s A52 ring road.<\/p>\n

Not.<\/p>\n

And before that the last of that type of drink I had was…<\/p>\n

Erm.<\/p>\n

Umm.<\/p>\n

Hmmm.<\/p>\n

No, I can’t remember when.<\/p>\n

Anyway, this isn’t about that kind of drink.<\/p>\n

And actually I’m not sure what it is about, but here we go.<\/p>\n

Last night, after battling my way back from dahn sarf, just off of that London, we went out.<\/p>\n

For pizza.<\/p>\n

On the way back, we were driving through West Bridgford, when we saw a young lad, standing at the side of the road.<\/p>\n

He was about 14yo, holding up a banner sign.<\/p>\n

It said (something like):<\/p>\n

Home-Made Elderflower Cordial, \u00a35\/bottle<\/strong><\/p>\n

So we stopped and bought a bottle.<\/p>\n

Why? Why would we?<\/p>\n

Just because we wanted to give an enterprising young lad a bit of support.<\/p>\n

I’m the only person in the house who would drink that kind of stuff, so I took it to work this morning, and cracked the bottle open after lunch.<\/p>\n

And you know how it tastes?<\/p>\n

It tastes exactly like Elderflower Cordial.<\/p>\n

So now I have lots of stuff to drink at work, because I took a new bottle of squash concentrate in this morning as well.<\/p>\n

And a new container of instant hot chocolate.<\/p>\n
