Today I:<\/p>\n
Backed up my laptop (complete not incremental)<\/p>\n
Backed up The Lovely S’s laptop (same procedure)<\/p>\n
Backed up my iPod<\/p>\n
Backed up the static html and all content on the website<\/p>\n
Backed up the MySQL database, php-scripts and CSS that makes this Blog<\/p>\n
Backed up all posts and comments<\/p>\n
Downloaded and installed an additional layer of Anti-spam clevery-stuff<\/p>\n
Moved\u00a0my MP3 and MP4 files off my laptop hard disk on to my half-terabyte external hard disk (thus creating almost 10Gb of free space on my laptop. Yay!<\/em>)<\/p>\n Set my iTunes software to look for all music on the external hard disk as a default<\/p>\n Took The Lovely S a cup of tea and breakfast in bed<\/p>\n Got in to bed for another hour or so and read<\/p>\n And cuddled<\/p>\n Got up, did getting up then getting dressed things<\/p>\n Made a picnic<\/p>\n Drove in to Bromsgrove, minor shopped<\/p>\n I mean we only shopped for a couple of items, not that we went shopping for any minors<\/em><\/p>\n As if!<\/em><\/p>\n Shivver<\/em><\/p>\n Went to the coffee bar and ahem ate carrot cake, drank hot chocolate and read The Daily Telegraph<\/p>\n Just like being back in Iceland, but without the Telegraph<\/p>\n Went to the park, found an excellent sitting down spot, spread our wings (and things) and sat<\/p>\n And read<\/p>\n And picnicked<\/p>\n And people watched<\/p>\n And chortled at what we saw<\/p>\n Then read some more<\/p>\n Cuddled<\/p>\n Stroked<\/p>\n Read a bit more<\/p>\n Came home<\/p>\n Washed, changed<\/p>\n Started writing this post<\/p>\n Drove to Worcester<\/p>\n Walked about town for a while<\/p>\n Went to the cinema<\/p>\n Watched The Simpsons (The Movie)<\/p>\n Laughed and held hands while doing it<\/p>\n Came home<\/p>\n Ate toast, drank hot chocolate (yes, more!)<\/p>\n Finished this blog post<\/p>\n Shut down the computer (this is a prediction)<\/p>\n Went to bed (ditto)<\/p>\n Fell asleep in the arms of a beautiful woman (bit of a dead cert!)<\/p>\n See?<\/p>\n Today I lived a simple life.<\/p>\n But it’s been fun.
