{"id":13129,"date":"2020-03-06T13:02:16","date_gmt":"2020-03-06T13:02:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=13129"},"modified":"2020-03-06T13:02:16","modified_gmt":"2020-03-06T13:02:16","slug":"its-only-money-honey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=13129","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s only money, honey"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>It&#8217;s been an expensive year so far, and we&#8217;re only just three months in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The emergency replacement of the new boiler was a bit of a shock; that&#8217;s a couple of thousand I had other plans for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Robyn&#8217;s little operation cost \u00a3380.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve just had \u00a3600 of special work done on the car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a3200 for insurance on the Ninja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And we&#8217;re spending several thousands of \u00a3s on something, this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Still, you have to look on the bright side:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We&#8217;ve got a new boiler<\/li><li>Robyn won&#8217;t have to go through another painful &#8216;season&#8217;<\/li><li>The car and this weekend&#8217;s thing will benefit us all (and that includes the two doggy types), and<\/li><li>The Ninja and I will continue to harass and scare other road users for the next 12 months<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s a lot to like there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been an expensive year so far, and we&#8217;re only just three months in.
