I used to subscribe to The Eye and contributed to the RB column in the 80s, but I had a really tragically bad run of luck. And arising from that time, there has been another instance of tragedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So it&#8217;s perfectly reasonable for me not to subscribe again, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes.
