Facebook has banned the sitting President of the USA at least until inauguration day. Instagram has banned the sitting President of the USA for two weeks. AWS has stopped hosting Parler. I could go on but there&#8217;s a whole bunch more and this is enough examples to make my point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every tech company and I&#8217;m going to say that again because some people just don&#8217;t get it, EVERY TECH COMPANY has Acceptable Use Policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you or I or even the President of the USA breaches those AUPs your use of those tech companies products will be curtailed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s standard stuff: If you dick around on the pitch you get sent off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately some people are only just waking up to AUPs and what they actually mean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-politics-55609903\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">There&#8217;s Matt Hancock, to name but one<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And the sitting President of the USA to name but another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And yes, this also applies to webhosting companies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Twitter has banned the sitting President of the USA for life.
