I’ve had more painful general inoculations, TBH. The pharmacist who ‘did’ me was very practised at giving a pain-free needle-in-the-arm experience. Let’s face it, if he’s sitting in a booth all day, administering the same injection and the same quantity of vaccine, and the same needle size to what must seem like a never-ending stream of people, he’s probably getting far more practice than the average A&E nurse gets at giving tetanus or whatever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As far as post C-19 vaccine after-effects, it’s difficult to put my finger on it, precisely. I certainly don’t feel unwell. But I’m not quite operating at 100% of capacity. I expect this to pass within 24 hours and I’ll probably be back to my usual annoying self by tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’m slightly concerned that Iceland (not the food store, doofus), Denmark, and three Norwegian cities have suspended use of the AZ\/O vaccine after an unfortunate incident. But we don’t know the full story behind that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
