The boat is looking very shiny, the hull has been polished and fender scuff marks no longer blight her appearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/20211230_104138.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14103\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/20211230_104241.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14105\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>All she needs now is a below-the-waterline tidy up, antifouling and a new anode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I did a voltage check on the A and B batteries:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/20211230_111849.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14108\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/20211230_111857.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14109\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then I repaired a break in the central heating ducting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/20211230_110127.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14110\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then I traced all the freshwater pipework from the inlet into the starboard water tank, from there to a junction (fed by two manual stop-tap type valves), the outwards pump, and from the port water tank into the same junction:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/20211230_110732.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14111\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/20211230_112742.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14112\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then I took advantage of a break in the rain to measure up the foredeck and coachroof for solar panels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Back below decks I had a last look around and realised that I don&#8217;t know what this display actually means (is it the A, or the B, battery?).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/20211230_111838.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14114\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And also, I have no idea what this display does?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/20211230_114227.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14115\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It could, conceivably, be a mirror display for the Standard Horizon Chartplotter in the cockpit. Putting such a display in front of the navigation table would make a great deal of sense but, being singlehanded and only having completed day-sailing, I&#8217;ve never sat below deck when the boat is underway and, therefore, never had a need to look for an internal Chartplotter display. I need to try\/check this out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also had a long hard look at the saloon table and decided that I&#8217;m going to remove that. Unfortunately I didn&#8217;t have the right tool with me, else I would have completed this relatively minor job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So there we are.
