SLIM is the Japanese small lunar landing demonstration vehicle. This made Japan the fifth earth-country to successfully land on the moon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just before SLIM landed, it released two small lunar surface probes. &#8216;LEV-2&#8217; will collect data while moving about the place. &#8216;LEV-1&#8217; will receive the data from LEV-2, and transmit it onwards via amateur radio. To enable this and to comply with earthly rules, an amateur radio station licence has been officially issued to to LEV-1. The licensee is JAXA Amateur Radio Club, JQ1ZVI. LEV-1s call sign is JS1YMG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The radiio wave model is listed as 100HA1A, 20K0G2d, 250KF8E.
