The weather was bright, sunny, and there were hordes of brass monkeys roaming the lanes looking for their bits. I&#8217;m always excessively careful on country lanes &#8211; especially around here &#8211; because the surfaces are horrible and the potholes are staggeringly large. But blimey O&#8217;Reilly it was good to take her out. I&#8217;m planning on another little two-wheeled trip out today (just as soon as the logs have arrived and I&#8217;ve put them all away). The air temperature is far from motorbiking optimum, but it&#8217;s great to be out when the sun&#8217;s shining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately this area is flat as a pancake (compared to where I was born and bred), and I haven&#8217;t had a good continental run since I did my &#8216;around Spain on the Triumph Daytona&#8217;, and that was too many years ago.
