It’s never given me an issue until this morning when I noticed something was amiss. The notification which rolled into my inbox said a website had new content. Marvellous. But what was not marvellous in the update were all the missing details: which website, what URL, what update, what content and when was it updated?

So today I tried to access Feedly and it asked me to log in which is a new behaviour but OK. User ID was entered and before I could put the password in, Feedly directed me to a ‘you’ve got no choice here bud’ page which asked/told me to log in with my Microsoft profile. Aha! Feedly has been got at by big tech, it seems.

Anyway, I accepted the only option on the board and Feedly gave me my usual dashboard. Unfortunately it indicated I’d missed a couple of posts from Young Masher because, presumably, Feedly was on the receiving end of some re-engineering. So, soz to Young Masher. And hopefully Feedly is now back on top of its game once more.

Not holding my breath though.

For more years than I care to dwell on, my RSS reader of choice has been Feedly.
