{"id":166,"date":"2007-08-28T21:07:14","date_gmt":"2007-08-28T20:07:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=166"},"modified":"2007-08-28T21:08:58","modified_gmt":"2007-08-28T20:08:58","slug":"a-serious-bit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=166","title":{"rendered":"A serious bit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Lovely S is not a happy bunny.<\/p>\n<p>She is a combination of angry and frustrated.<\/p>\n<p>She gets angry and because she gets angry she becomes frustrated because she is unable to deal with her anger; has to bottle it all up inside &#8211; until she can get home where I can sit and listen and talk and we discuss and eventually, after some time, sometimes quite a lot of time, we cuddle and smile and agree that yes, people really\u00c2\u00a0are stupid fcukwits who don&#8217;t know better but really should.<\/p>\n<p>People treat The Lovely S as though\u00c2\u00a0she&#8217;s a lowly serf &#8211; a\u00c2\u00a0know nothing sack of sh*t not\u00c2\u00a0fit to shine their shabby, chavvy shoes let alone\u00c2\u00a0be worthy of being\u00c2\u00a0treated as an equal.<\/p>\n<p>But the truth is that The Lovely S is several million times better than the people they will ever\u00c2\u00a0be.<\/p>\n<p>No-one should be treated the way\u00c2\u00a0some &#8211; not all, not\u00c2\u00a0by any means &#8211; members of the public treat The Lovely S.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And her workplace &#8211; they treat that as if they personally own the building and everything inside it.<\/p>\n<p>Why do people do that?<\/p>\n<p>Anyway.<\/p>\n<p>The Lovely S is, as I&#8217;ve said, an unhappy, frustrated &#8211; and just a little angry &#8211; person.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s not the person she is.<\/p>\n<p>Normally The Lovely S is a beautiful,\u00c2\u00a0delicate, sensitive, compassionate, caring person capable of bursting in to tears at the softest, emotional thing.<\/p>\n<p>And she&#8217;s fearsomely intelligent too, have I mentioned this?<\/p>\n<p>I think I must have; how I fell in love with her intellect weeks before we met?<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;s not normally the hard-arsed, intolerant, staring-eyed sweary person that she was earlier this evening when she <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/wordyworldofs.blogspot.com\/2007\/08\/tuesdayi-will-mostly-be.html\" title=\"Angry but still very lovely\">wrote this<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve fed her &#8211; she needed that.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve listened to her (and I sympathise).<\/p>\n<p>But now it&#8217;s time to take her to bed, to cuddle her, tell her how much I love her and to tell her once again that some people really are sh*ts.<\/p>\n<p>And we can cuddle up in bed, watch Big Brother (cringingly) or read.<\/p>\n<p>I shall kiss her and by degrees she&#8217;ll get back to her normal self.<\/p>\n<p>My poor lovely S.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>B<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Lovely S is not a happy bunny.
