I’m so lucky.<\/p>\n
The Lovely S is back.<\/p>\n
On Thursday evening -her first night back – we fell in to bed I don’t know when and slept at I don’t know what time.<\/p>\n
But I do know that she fell asleep in my arms and I held her, kissed and stroked her for a while afterwards until I let sleep overtake me.<\/p>\n
When the alarm went of at 05.15 I felt great.<\/p>\n
I slid out of bed ten minutes later (having spent the time just holding her, listening to her sleep-filled breathing) still feeling great -but the time I’d showered and eaten I felt as though I was going to explode.<\/p>\n
Two hours later I arrived at work.<\/p>\n
And I felt unbelievably excellent.<\/p>\n
The Lovely S is back.<\/p>\n
Yay!<\/p>\n
As if that doesn’t take my personal satisfaction levels to previously undreamed of heights…<\/p>\n
The evening before yesterday I arrived home to a prepared candle-lit dinner, a bottle of chilled champagne, dimmed lighting and softly playing music.<\/p>\n
The Lovely S was in the kitchen serving our beautifully cooked meal -though she was dressed so… well just so… that I could hardly keep my hands off her.<\/p>\n
Not my birthday, no.<\/p>\n
Not our anniversary either.<\/p>\n
Not any kind of a red-letter day – just because she wanted to.<\/p>\n
That’s how lucky I am! I’m so lucky. The Lovely S is back.
