As part of the degree the Open University has arranged a weekend in Rome<\/p>\n
Next weekend.<\/p>\n
On the itinerary is a tour around the Colosseum (that’s handy – we get a whole assignment and study block on it!) and a trip around a Rothko exhibition.<\/p>\n
A block-booked evening meal has also been arranged.<\/p>\n
I fly out on Friday and come back Sunday.<\/p>\n
The Lovely S can’t get time off so she’s going to have a girlie weekend with a friend from Australia.<\/p>\n
My mentally-composed packing list so far includes:<\/p>\n
* laptop and charger
\n* iPod
\n* text books (2)
\n* notepads (2)
\n* pens (3)
\n* mobile phone & charger
\n* shorts, socks, T-shirt, cotton shirt<\/p>\n
