(was tagged and bagged)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Finally getting around to responding to <a href=\"http:\/\/stratfordgirl.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Stratford Girl\">Stratford Girl&#8217;s tag<\/a>!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>OK, let&#8217;s just get one thing straight.<\/p>\n<p>I am a boy.<\/p>\n<p>And boys don&#8217;t have handbags.<\/p>\n<p>As such.<\/p>\n<p>Some of us do carry laptop bags, so &#8211; for the purposes of this tag- I&#8217;m pretending that my laptop bag is my handbag.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t actually have a handbag.<\/p>\n<p>OK?<\/p>\n<p>Moving on&#8230;<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>______________________________________<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The first photograph:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is my laptop bag.<\/p>\n<p>Isn&#8217;t it pretty?<\/p>\n<p>No, that&#8217;s exactly my point.<\/p>\n<p>It isn&#8217;t pretty. It&#8217;s not a handbag. I&#8217;m not a girl.<\/p>\n<p>Moving on (some more).<\/p>\n<p><strong>The second photograph:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Shows the contents of the small flappy pocket on the front of the laptop bag. Hidden away in here are a few trinkets to keep the natives happy.<\/p>\n<p><em>In the first row we have:<br \/>\n<\/em>A USB cable for T-Bar<br \/>\nSticky notepad things from a posh hotel in Kildare I stayed in last summer<br \/>\nUSB cable extender for T-Bar<br \/>\nT-Bar driver disk, instruction manual<br \/>\nT-Bar remote control<br \/>\nT-Bar magnetic aerial and USB connector<br \/>\nCar\/House keys<br \/>\nPCMCIA driver disk<br \/>\nRG85 tone\/pulse converter<\/p>\n<p><em>The second row gives us:<\/em><br \/>\nBank security device for doing internetting stuff with money<br \/>\nBlack marker and two highlighter pens<br \/>\nSpanish to English plug converter<br \/>\nUSB memory stick and extension lead<br \/>\nGreen and black biros<br \/>\nIbuprofen<br \/>\nUSB driver disk<br \/>\nUSB extension cable<br \/>\nParacetamol<br \/>\nChewing gum<br \/>\nMore Paracetamol! (no, I&#8217;m not a drug addict. I hardly touch the stuff! I just seem to be the office pharmacy)<br \/>\nOne Euro (Random! Don&#8217;t ask me what it&#8217;s doing there!)<br \/>\nBatteries (don&#8217;t know what for!)<br \/>\nRG85 cable (just in case I find myself in a place with no mobile internet signal and no WiFi hotspot)<br \/>\nSplit ring<\/p>\n<p><em>And in the third row we have:<\/em><br \/>\nSpare batteries for digital voice recorder<br \/>\nInstruction manual for digital voice recorder (I&#8217;ve had it for a year now, perhaps I should chuck this?)<br \/>\nDigital voice recorder<br \/>\nMicrosoft software key\/security code<br \/>\nUSB cable for iPod<br \/>\nUSB cable for camera<br \/>\nOne replacement earpad for ipod earphones<\/p>\n<p><strong>The third photograph shows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The contents of the cavernously large pocket on the back of the laptop bag. There are very many useful things tucked away in here, including:<br \/>\nThe Open University Arts Good Study Guide<br \/>\nA wodge of envelopes (technical term there for you)<br \/>\nFolder of invoices and bills<br \/>\nFolder of dressage tests in case I have five minutes to fill and I need to learn one<br \/>\nThe totally brilliant wipe on\/off dressage test board<br \/>\nTwo USB sticks<br \/>\nAssortment of pens and an electrical screwdriver<br \/>\nCD-RW<br \/>\nRandom red paperclip<br \/>\nPersonal and company cheque books<br \/>\nAirPlus driver on CD<br \/>\nCamera case<br \/>\nCertificate from Microsoft for doing something technical with software<br \/>\nA4 notepad<\/p>\n<p>And finally&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The fourth photograph:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tells us what&#8217;s lurking inside the laptop bag, viz:<br \/>\nLaptop including 3g portable internet card<br \/>\nThree USB sticks and a USB Bluetooth dongle<br \/>\nBook on The Coliseum and Classical Studies notes<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>______________________________________<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Riveting, eh?  Aww, c&#8217;mon.  You&#8217;re mesmerised by my rock&#8217;n&#8217;roll lifestyle, arencha?<br \/>\n\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>And for those who believe there might be something missing; my iPod <em>isn&#8217;t<\/em> in the bag, it&#8217;s in my shirt pocket.<\/p>\n<p>Nyah!<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for the tag SG.
