I got to the yard at 09.00 on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Christine, Karen and Laura were peering underneath their lorry and wearing expressions of a worried nature.<\/p>\n

“Have you got your power pack?” asked Karen. “It won’t start.”<\/p>\n

I connected the power pack and we tried again.<\/p>\n

There was a promising noise but still the starter didn’t turn over completely.<\/p>\n

So I gave them the keys to my lorry and off they trundled to Allens Hill where Karen was competing in affiliated dressage.<\/p>\n

I remember my old Bedford TK – that was a right bugger to start sometimes!<\/p>\n
