{"id":351,"date":"2008-01-11T18:45:14","date_gmt":"2008-01-11T17:45:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=351"},"modified":"2012-05-03T21:28:52","modified_gmt":"2012-05-03T20:28:52","slug":"four-seasons-in-one-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=351","title":{"rendered":"Four seasons in one day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>**updated &#8211; 17:17, 12th January 2008**<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>mobile blogging<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s 18.31 Friday.<\/p>\n<p>I am sitting in my car on top of The Cotswolds, going nowhere.<\/p>\n<p>There are about 2,000 other cars up here.<\/p>\n<p>All going nowhere.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve been trapped by the very sudden (and un-forecast) blizzard.<\/p>\n<p>The snow outside is four inches deep, all of the roads up here are impassable.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately I&#8217;m well prepared; in the car I have a bar of chocolate and three bottles of water.<\/p>\n<p>In the boot I have a pair of Wellingtons, a fleece and a puffa jacket.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t really want to spend hours on end in the car, but if I have to I won&#8217;t do too badly.<\/p>\n<p>I hope everyone else is going to be comfortable.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve taken a couple of photographs but the signal out here isn&#8217;t fast enough to upload &#8211; I&#8217;ll do that later.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">___________________<\/p>\n<p><em>**updated &#8211; 17:17, 12th January 2008**<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Six hours.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s what it took me to travel 68 miles.<\/p>\n<p>More later.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>B<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>**updated &#8211; 17:17, 12th January 2008** mobile blogging It&#8217;s 18.31 Friday.
