It shows scenes that at best could be <em>called<\/em> child abuse, and at worst could be <em>demonstrated<\/em> as such.<\/p>\n<p>But leaving aside the issue of whether conditioning is brainwashing is cruelty for a moment, the wider question is that of understanding.<\/p>\n<p>How can a child &#8211; self styled &#8216;preacher&#8217; &#8211; of seven years stand outside health clinics shouting that this place is where people kill their babies?<\/p>\n<p>How can a seven year old child understand the concepts involved?<\/p>\n<p>Can a seven year old child understand rape, and understand the consequences of rape, the place where the female who was raped puts herself when she finds she&#8217;s pregnant?<\/p>\n<p>OK, that&#8217;s largely rhetorical because plainly, a seven year old child (of either gender) can&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>And how can a child explain Exodus 35.2 to anyone?<\/p>\n<p>These are just a few of my questions, my head is full of them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.newhumanist.org.uk\/2008\/02\/baby-bible-bashers.html\" title=\"The Humanist article\" target=\"_blank\">This post at The Humanist<\/a> gives one view of the child and his parents.<\/p>\n<p>This post at youtube gives another:<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"425\" height=\"355\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/b08v_OF6-TU&#038;rel=1\"><\/param><param name=\"wmode\" value=\"transparent\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/b08v_OF6-TU&#038;rel=1\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" wmode=\"transparent\" width=\"425\" height=\"355\"><\/embed><\/object><\/object><em><strong>B<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The documentary &#8216;Baby Bible Bashers&#8217; on C4 is deeply disturbing.
