{"id":436,"date":"2008-03-13T18:22:33","date_gmt":"2008-03-13T18:22:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=436"},"modified":"2008-03-13T18:22:33","modified_gmt":"2008-03-13T18:22:33","slug":"today-i-shall-mostly-be","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=436","title":{"rendered":"Today I shall mostly be"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Productive and scruffy.<\/p>\n<p>In that order.<\/p>\n<p>I am working at home (yes I know it&#8217;s now 18.06, and I&#8217;m blogging but I&#8217;m just having a five minute break before I put my nose back to the grindstone).<\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;m still in my bathrobe.<\/p>\n<p>Max Barry, one of my favourite authors, says one of the best things about being a writer is that he can work in his boxer shorts.<\/p>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t even made it in to mine.<\/p>\n<p>Which, in my mind, makes me more productive.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve <strike>used<\/strike> wasted less time getting dressed than Max would&#8217;ve.<\/p>\n<p>But joking aside, productivity has been high, documentation has been produced, the internet has been unsurfed (apart from a quick chat session with Sooz), the television unwatched and lunch uneaten.<\/p>\n<p>Yes indeed, so busy have I been that I haven&#8217;t even had anything to eat.<\/p>\n<p>As soon as I&#8217;ve finished trying to break a piece of software in Liverpool (look, I&#8217;m supposed to be sounding it out &#8211; honest!) I&#8217;m going to put all the papers away and have a shower and shave.<\/p>\n<p>Bathrobe days.<\/p>\n<p>Also known as productivity days.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>B<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Productive and scruffy.
