We were talking, recently, about writing in different formats – and scripts in particular. That conversation spiralled out of a problem I was having, at the time, with the the Sitcom I’ve been working on.<\/p>\n
Although not an unqualified success with C4 at the first submission stage, ‘Shelved’ does seem to have found some kind of favour, which means I’ll continue working on the project.<\/p>\n
Apart from the prospect of getting the piece reconsidered for filming, another reason for keeping at it is, frankly, because I need lots of practice at writing in script format.<\/p>\n
Pigeon Girl recently said to me that she loved reading scripts.<\/p>\n
What?<\/p>\n
If we were looking for any additional evidence that she’s quite special, we have it in that sentence.<\/p>\n
Because, frankly, reading scripts is flipping hard.<\/p>\n
Anyway, as promised, here’s the first eight pages of what was the first draught version of ‘Shelved (in .pdf format).<\/p>\n
