{"id":4671,"date":"2011-03-20T18:24:59","date_gmt":"2011-03-20T18:24:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=4671"},"modified":"2011-03-20T18:24:59","modified_gmt":"2011-03-20T18:24:59","slug":"digital-tv-is-shit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=4671","title":{"rendered":"Digital TV is shit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The date for The Digital Television Switchover is sweeping ever closer.<\/p>\n<p>September this year, in this region.<\/p>\n<p>Great.<\/p>\n<p>Or it would be if the fucking service actually worked on all channels.<\/p>\n<p>You can say what you like about the &#8216;old&#8217; Analogue television system; yes, it only gave us five channels of shit, instead of the 43 channels of nothing-to-watch that Digital does.<\/p>\n<p>But at least Analogue worked.<\/p>\n<p>Digital TV gives us reception that schnippp sharpfff and then whzzzz wharpffft backwards while you shdniz schnick [white noise] unwatchable.<\/p>\n<p>Useless, absolutely fucking useless.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know if the cause of this rubbish reception is something to do with last year&#8217;s fire at the Oxford transmitter, or just a symptom of Digitial TV being crap.<\/p>\n<p>But the bottom line is, in this part of the country at least, that Digital TV is shit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The date for The Digital Television Switchover is sweeping ever closer.
