Hey! I’ve got to say that! If I told the truth his head would get so huge he’d be unable to get out of the building.<\/em><\/p>\n Or in to it.<\/em><\/p>\n Which would mean, thinking about it, that he wouldn’t be so clever at work because he couldn’t get in because of his oversized head.<\/em><\/p>\n Hmmm…<\/em><\/p>\n Anyway, this guy – I’ll call him Nick, but that’s his real name so I’ll come back and edit this later in an effort to hide his real identity as if he were a mild-mannered Clark Kent\/butch Superman kind of split personality guy.<\/p>\n Where was I?<\/p>\n Oh yes, Nick.<\/p>\n He plays guitar – but it’s OK, it’s only bass guitar.<\/p>\n And it’s cool for me to say that because I am, after all, one of the best rhythm guitarists in this whole house!<\/p>\n And he’s in a band too (as well as working with us genetically-engineered super-clevers), this Nick-not-his-real-name.<\/p>\n So I said to him the other day ‘What did you do over the weekend Nick?’<\/p>\n And you know what he said?<\/p>\n Do you?<\/p>\n Well I’ll tell you.<\/p>\n He told me that he ‘spent some of it in a recording studio’.<\/p>\n For a split second I assumed that he had a second job cleaning the glass between the studio and the engineer’s deck.<\/p>\n I may have said something hyper-intelligent like “Wha’?”<\/p>\n ‘Playing in the band’.<\/p>\n An animated conversation took place at this point followed, shortly afterwards, by the electronic transmission of a hyperlink to my inbox.<\/p>\n Yes indeed.<\/p>\n So when you click on the MySpace link below do yourself a favour.<\/p>\n Make sure you’re comfortable.<\/p>\n Make sure you’re not going to be disturbed for a short while, and…<\/p>\n Make sure the player is serving up the track ‘Rico’.<\/p>\n And here it is…<\/p>\n
