Last week I bought a copy of Sony Vegas Pro (thank goodness for discount codes!).<\/p>\n
Vegas Pro is my first ‘proper’ piece of video-editing software.<\/p>\n
Up until now every piece of film I’ve produced has been made using VideoPad from NCH.<\/p>\n
I’m not dissing VideoPad; it is a free piece of video-editing software and it is very simple to use.<\/p>\n
But good though VideoPad is, it is limited in what it allows users to do and\u00a0I’ve outgrown it.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately the learning curve is tremendously steep; the gap between VideoPad and Vegas Pro is *immense*.<\/p>\n
I need to get a handle on Vegas Pro; we’re due to shoot the first proper project in a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n
So, if you know anything about it – or if you know someone who is a bit of an expert – can you let me know?<\/p>\n
