It’s Saturday evening and we’re rocking it out large.<\/p>\n

And by ‘rocking it out large’ I mean we are in our customary position on the couch, watching a film.<\/p>\n

I spent today mucking about on a Suzuki GSX750:<\/p>\n

It was great fun but I’m knackered now.<\/p>\n

Listeners to the podcast<\/a> will know that I’m sitting my Driving Theory and Hazard Perception tests this week.<\/p>\n

For a bet.<\/p>\n

It’s serious stuff.<\/p>\n

The kitty is up to \u00a332.50 and when I win – by proving that I can pass the modern test without even prepping for it – the ILPH will get the money.<\/p>\n

While we’re talking about transport-related things, I have repositioned the camera in the car.<\/p>\n

I wanted to catch some of the criminally insane tailgating that I experience every day – just because I drive at the maximum speed limit.<\/p>\n

However…<\/p>\n

I tried the camera out in its new setting on Friday, on the trip home.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately the camera is in very plain sight.<\/p>\n

Which means that it’s highly visible to other road users.<\/p>\n

As a result, everyone slowed down to 70mph.<\/p>\n

*And* they kept a respectful distance.<\/p>\n

I am, obv, very disappointed.<\/p>\n

But I’ll keep trying.<\/p>\n
