{"id":563,"date":"2008-05-25T22:48:39","date_gmt":"2008-05-25T22:48:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=563"},"modified":"2008-05-25T22:53:16","modified_gmt":"2008-05-25T22:53:16","slug":"sunday-evening-closing-down","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=563","title":{"rendered":"Sunday evening closing down"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>And now to bed.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been a fun-packed, action-filled evening.<\/p>\n<p>Soph&#8217;s dillied and dallied her way through an essay prep.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve dozed my way through Clear and Present Danger.<\/p>\n<p>The thing is, with watching television when half asleep, is that one&#8217;s brain freewheels.<\/p>\n<p>Especially when the adverts interrupt the programming.<\/p>\n<p>Femfresh, that&#8217;s been advertised a lot this evening.<\/p>\n<p>Why?<\/p>\n<p>Does a study of the television-watching audience indicate that there&#8217;s a large proportion of the Sunday evening film viewership who have, erm, odorous bits?<\/p>\n<p>And why doesn&#8217;t the Femfresh advert come right out and say what the product is for?<\/p>\n<p>How coy is that?<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s like watching an advert for HSBC that doesn&#8217;t actually mention money or accounts or credit cards or loans.<\/p>\n<p>Which is, of course, precisely what HSBC adverts don&#8217;t do.<\/p>\n<p>So there we have it; Femfresh manufacturers are shy.<\/p>\n<p>So here, courtesy of a tired brain, is my advertising slogan &#8211; in an Ordinary People kind of way.<\/p>\n<p>Femfresh.
