An email arrives from one of the lovely folk who works in the workplace Costa I used to frequent in Swindon.<\/p>\n
There’s a Costa in my new workplace too.<\/p>\n
It’s nice that there is such a consistency in my life.<\/p>\n
But it’s not the same Costa.<\/p>\n
Not the same lovelies.<\/p>\n
I miss them all.<\/p>\n
And I miss their prices too.<\/p>\n
The price of the Latt\u00c3\u00a9, you smutty-minded individual, the price of the Latt\u00c3\u00a9.<\/p>\n
\u00c2\u00a31 for a small-to-medium in Swindon<\/p>\n
\u00c2\u00a31.85 for a medium in Victoria.<\/p>\n
\u00c2\u00a30.85 difference!<\/p>\n
How’s that work out?<\/p>\n
\u00c2\u00a32.25 for a large one.<\/p>\n
There’s a joke close by but it’s bordering on bad taste and who knows, Si\u00c3\u00a2n or one of the other lovelies from Swindon might be looking in – and I wouldn’t want to offend them with rude implications.<\/p>\n
