{"id":647,"date":"2008-07-29T12:55:19","date_gmt":"2008-07-29T11:55:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=647"},"modified":"2015-02-25T20:36:38","modified_gmt":"2015-02-25T20:36:38","slug":"horsebox-for-sale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=647","title":{"rendered":"Horsebox for sale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Note to regulars: sorry about the advert!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Horsebox for sale.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m never going to own more than one competing horse again so my lovely, large horsebox could do with downsizing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What it is:<br \/>\n<\/strong>* A big lorry!<br \/>\n* Ford Cargo 1015 (downgraded to 7.5T for non-HGV purposes)<br \/>\n* Tilt cab<br \/>\n* Cut-through to living<br \/>\n* Comfortable living, good cupboard space<br \/>\n* Large, walk-in tack locker, three saddle racks, two bridle hooks<br \/>\n* Rubber floor in horse area<br \/>\n* Stalled for 4 horses<br \/>\n* Drives like an absolute dream<br \/>\n* Fitted with battery isolation switch to disconnect the tacho when not in use<\/p>\n<p><strong>What it isn&#8217;t:<\/strong><br \/>\n* A &#8216;ladies box&#8217;. The ramp is heavy, but easy. I do it by myself every day. The partitions swing easily open and shut but if you&#8217;re parked on unlevel ground then putting the securing pins in can take effort<br \/>\n* Factory fresh. It&#8217;s a &#8216;D&#8217; reg lorry. If you want factory fresh go and buy new<br \/>\n* Leaking! It doesn&#8217;t leak air, water, oil or any other fluid. And no, water does not leak through the cab cut either.<br \/>\n* Poorly maintained<br \/>\n* A bad starter<\/p>\n<p>Because I&#8217;m realistic and I know the lorry&#8217;s good and less good points I&#8217;ve set a very realistic selling price.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c2\u00a34,950<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The lorry can be viewed at and test-driven from its secure parking near Droitwich, Worcestershire.<\/p>\n<p>Taxed, tested, on the road and in full use &#8211; national mileage &#8211; almost every weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Photographs available on request, but here&#8217;s one I found on my mobile phone.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>B<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Note to regulars: sorry about the advert!
