He stared back, a flicker of defiance crossed his face before he opened his mouth and took the white liquid where it was never intended to go.<\/p>\n

It feels like a relatively minor root infection – hence the self treatment.<\/p>\n
What I want to know is, how come both of the toothache remedies I know involve putting not pleasant flavours in your mouth?<\/p>\n
Oil of cloves – which tastes gaggingly disgusting – to deaden the pain of a toothache, but fortunately that’s not what is needed now.<\/p>\n
Heavily salinated water – six or seven teaspoonfuls of salt mixed in hot water, swilled and gargled around the infected dental area.<\/p>\n
