Tidied my bedroom, straightened up the studio, stuffed some bog cleaner down the, erm, bog.<\/p>\n<p>Then I took the recycling out, tidied the kitchen and flicked Henry II around the lounge.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=6676\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6676\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-6676\" title=\"Henry2\" src=\"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/\/Henry2-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Henry2-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Henry2-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Henry2.jpg 465w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And somehow, during the Henry II action&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I broke myself.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know what happened, or how it happened, but at some stage during the vacuuming, my back gave me a painful spasm and then I couldn&#8217;t move easily and painlessly any more.<\/p>\n<p>I took painkillers, went to bed and slept fitfully.<\/p>\n<p>This morning I resemble a geriatric, as I totter and teeter around the house, trying to find more painkillers.<\/p>\n<p>The only things I&#8217;m sure of, are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Housework is bad for you<\/li>\n<li>I don&#8217;t have any more painkillers in the house<\/li>\n<li>That means I have to stagger out to get some<\/li>\n<li>This means I have to shower, shave, dress<\/li>\n<li>This might take some time<\/li>\n<li>My weekend plans look scotched<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Oh arse.<\/p>\n<p>But really?<\/p>\n<p>This happened doing the vacuuming?<\/p>\n<p>Well you won&#8217;t catch me doing *that* again!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Early yesterday evening, after my massive day of sloth, in bed, I did a little housework.
