{"id":77,"date":"2007-07-10T22:33:49","date_gmt":"2007-07-10T21:33:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=77"},"modified":"2007-07-10T23:13:26","modified_gmt":"2007-07-10T22:13:26","slug":"kill-all-the-cows","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=77","title":{"rendered":"Kill all the cows!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Kill the cows; kill them now!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>They&#8217;re destroying our planet.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>A survey has just concluded that a Landrover Discovery emits 3,500g of carbon over a 30-mile journey.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Whilst\u00c2\u00a0a cow emits 4,000g of carbon a day!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Hmmm&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>While I admit I&#8217;ve employed a smidge of humour here I do think this not-really-earth-shattering news might give us all pause for thought in what is in danger of becoming a\u00c2\u00a0relentless pursuit of those who use the internal combustion engine.<\/p>\n<p>No?<\/p>\n<p>I mean, surely, until someone can devise a system of giving credit to (as well as not being judgemental of)\u00c2\u00a0a person who drives a V6 3.6 litre 4&#215;4 <strong><em>which runs on LPG<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; and therefore has a smaller operational carbon footprint than a Mini &#8211; we&#8217;re being very dishonest with our motivations.<\/p>\n<p>No?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Brennig<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kill the cows; kill them now!
