They&#8217;re nothing more than legal viruses (where a virus is a piece of malware designed to adversely affect your system performance).<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been monitoring my system resources over the past few days and these two parasites have been averaging up to 3% of my CPU functionality.<\/p>\n<p>Now 3% of CPU doesn&#8217;t sound like much does it? But I am using a custom-built laptop with two Intel Core Duo chips operating at 2.8Ghz in a real memory of 16Gb of RAM that writes to 120Gb of hard disk.<\/p>\n<p>And 3% of <em>that much<\/em> processing power is a hell of a lot; it would extrapolate to a near-crippling amount of system resource engagement on a conventional laptop or PC.<\/p>\n<p>So next time your pc or laptop runs slowly, switch the bloody things off, they&#8217;re nothing more than very badly written applications.
