I’m preparing for the Awards beanfeast on Wednesday evening and being a pragmatic\u00c2\u00a0person I’m aware that, of late, my middle has *cough* expanded. Slightly.<\/p>\n
This morning, while walking from a meeting at one end of Westminster to another meeting at the distant end of Westminster I spied a Moss Bros and grasped the opportunity with both hands.<\/p>\n
It really didn’t take me long to work out that a full-on evening suit would cost \u00c2\u00a365 to hire, but for \u00c2\u00a389 I could buy one and<\/em> get a dress shirt and<\/em> bow-tie thrown in. This is a win.<\/p>\n Lastminute.com have come up trumps and sorted me out with a double room in a four-star\u00c2\u00a0Hyde Park hotel for \u00c2\u00a379.99. This\u00c2\u00a0is a legitmate\u00c2\u00a0company expense so I will claim it back, obv.
