I find I’m getting hooked in to things.<\/p>\n
I have been fascinated by the now-finished book ‘Unmastered’.<\/p>\n
The content is, frankly, bland (especially if one is used to, ahem, more direct fayre), but the style in which the content is delivered is very readable.<\/p>\n
As a piece of writing, Unmastered puts Fifty Shades well and truly in the shade.<\/p>\n
Hahahahaha!<\/p>\n
In the shade!<\/p>\n

Ahem.<\/p>\n
But Unmastered as a piece of erotica?<\/p>\n
Nah.<\/p>\n
Delta of Venus did it much better.<\/p>\n
Anyway, Unmastered has been well and truly mastered.<\/p>\n
I have other preoccupations.<\/p>\n
I am preoccupied by a girl (woman?).<\/p>\n
I think of her and I smile.<\/p>\n
I feel excited.<\/p>\n
I am, obviously, a teenager trapped in someone else’s body.<\/p>\n
It might come to nothing, but still I smile.<\/p>\n
Still I think of her.<\/p>\n
Still I get excited.<\/p>\n
I am also very toey.<\/p>\n
At work there is a touch of mild flirting with a doe-eyed girl.<\/p>\n
And the leggy redhead from HR is back.<\/p>\n
Preoccupations.<\/p>\n
And work, despite the completion of the last two weekends, continues to occupy.<\/p>\n
Oh yes, and some daft bugger keeps calling my mobile – from a ‘not disclosed’ number – but rings off and doesn’t leave a message.<\/p>\n
What’s that about?<\/p>\n
Either leave a message or leave a number or email me, for crying out loud.<\/p>\n
It’s like some people are just out to play games. I don’t play games.<\/p>\n
So that’s another preoccupation. It shouldn’t be, but it is.<\/p>\n
I rode Vin this evening; he makes me laugh so much.<\/p>\n
In many ways he is like a big\u00a0excitable\u00a0puppy.<\/p>\n
Daughter made me laugh this evening too.<\/p>\n
She is, though, still no nearer to being out of the teen-girl\/goth\/emo phase that she has so recently assumed.<\/p>\n
The week – and the weekend – stretch ahead.<\/p>\n
Dinner in London tomorrow.<\/p>\n
No social activities planned for the weekend.<\/p>\n
Ride Vin?<\/p>\n
Ride the Bandit?<\/p>\n
Have a mini adventure?<\/p>\n
Maybe go to a six-band gig that is on in Oxford on Saturday?<\/p>\n
