{"id":8529,"date":"2012-12-15T10:53:47","date_gmt":"2012-12-15T10:53:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=8529"},"modified":"2012-12-15T10:55:06","modified_gmt":"2012-12-15T10:55:06","slug":"ho-ho-ho-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=8529","title":{"rendered":"Ho ho ho"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well it&#8217;s that time of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Again.<\/p>\n<p>(he said, accidentally chanelling Phil Connors in Groundhog Day)<\/p>\n<p>I had a cunning plan that I was going to spend Christmas and New Year in the Canary Islands.<\/p>\n<p>Plans change and, owing to circumstances beyond my control, mine was no exception.<\/p>\n<p>So I shall be spending my festive break at home.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Making lists<\/li>\n<li>Re-indexing my CDs<\/li>\n<li>Re-cataloguing my DVDs<\/li>\n<li>Making plans<\/li>\n<li>Watching films<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It&#8217;s the last thing on that list that started me thinking, as I was trundling around Sainsbury&#8217;s this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Christmas films.<\/p>\n<p>What I need in my life, I thought to myself, is a list of my top ten Christmas films.<\/p>\n<p>And that&#8217;s what I&#8217;m going to be working on, as I drive up to the stables, to ride the Vinster, very shortly.<\/p>\n<p>See?<\/p>\n<p>Even when I&#8217;m driving the car I&#8217;m making lists.<\/p>\n<p>Weirdo, obv.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well it&#8217;s that time of the year.
