{"id":939,"date":"2008-12-25T07:45:45","date_gmt":"2008-12-25T07:45:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=939"},"modified":"2008-12-25T11:33:05","modified_gmt":"2008-12-25T11:33:05","slug":"merry-christmas-old-savings-and-loan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=939","title":{"rendered":"Merry Christmas old Savings and Loan!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>It&#8217;s now Christmas Day and quiet in this house<br \/>\nNothing is stirring, not even a mouse<br \/>\nThe kettle is on and Brennig makes tea<br \/>\nHe&#8217;ll go to the bathroom, it&#8217;s time for a&#8230; shave.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The lights are so festive, they&#8217;re bright and they&#8217;re gay<br \/>\nThe presents sit waiting, well-wrapped (in a way)<br \/>\nSophie lies sleeping, she sucks on her thumb<br \/>\nSoon Brennig will slide in and cuddle her&#8230; back.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I really suck at poetry. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>And as for the title of this post.. no, last night we didn&#8217;t watch <em>It&#8217;s a Wonderful Life<\/em>, we cuddled up on the sofa and watched <em>Love Actually<\/em>. And I still think Richard Curtis is a curse inflicted upon this planet to dissuade anyone with ambitions of becoming a writer, because he really is very, very good.<\/p>\n<p>However&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I noticed a <em>massive <\/em>continuity error in Love Actually last night. It&#8217;s so massive that it has made Mr Curtis a mere mortal in my eyes. Lord knows how I&#8217;ve never noticed it before!<\/p>\n<p>Yes, you&#8217;re still very, very good. But now I know you make mistakes.
