{"id":9664,"date":"2013-10-30T20:25:38","date_gmt":"2013-10-30T20:25:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=9664"},"modified":"2013-10-30T21:50:50","modified_gmt":"2013-10-30T21:50:50","slug":"the-space-has-a-meaning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brennigjones.com\/blog\/?p=9664","title":{"rendered":"The Space Has A Meaning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have seen Phil McMinn perform as the frontman of (the late) The Winchell Riots a few times.<\/p>\n<p>I was in the front row, with my daughter, at Reading Festival, when The Winchell Riots played their hearts out to an enthusiastic but soggy crowd.<\/p>\n<p>And my (then) 13-year old daughter left the Festival with an understanding of why I had been raving about this band, on the way down to Reading.<\/p>\n<p>Too quickly afterwards, I was in the Jacqueline du Pre auditorium, in The Winchell Riots&#8217; hometown of Oxford, for the band&#8217;s farewell performance.<\/p>\n<p>The Winchell Riots have gone, but Phil McMinn has continued his musical journey.<\/p>\n<p>And, through him, so have I.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2013 Phil will be releasing an EP &#8216;The Space Has A Meaning&#8217;.
